הִילּוּלָא, הִלּוּלָאch. sam( הִילּוּל, הִלּוּל m. (הלל) singing praises), esp. praising the bride in dancing before her (v. Ps. 78:63; Keth.17a), in gen. wedding. Targ. Koh. 3:4; a. e.Ber31a; a. fr.Snh.105a (prov.) when mouse and cat עבדיה׳ מבישראוכ׳ Ms. M. (ed. מתרבא) make a wedding feast, it is from the flesh (fat) of an unlucky (victim).ביה׳ wedding house, feast.
